What is MISHTI Scheme?

The MISHTI (Marketing of Innovative Scheme for Honey and Traditional Products) Scheme is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in India to promote the production, branding, and marketing of honey and other traditional products. The scheme aims to provide a platform for small and medium enterprises to showcase their products, enhance their marketability, and improve their competitiveness. The MISHTI Scheme provides financial assistance to eligible beneficiaries for various activities related to product development, branding, packaging, and marketing.

When MISHTI Scheme was Launched?

The MISHTI (Marketing of Innovative Scheme for Honey and Traditional Products) Scheme was launched by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in India in the financial year 2019-20. The scheme was launched on 28th February 2020, by the Union Minister for MSME, Shri Nitin Gadkari. The scheme was launched with an initial allocation of Rs. 10 crore for the financial year 2019-20, and it has since been continued in subsequent financial years as well.
